5 NT does not necessarily ask for kings. The next 2 steps (other than trump suit) ask for kings or the queen.
That is:
I,over 5 C:
5 D/H asks for trump Q
5 H/S asks for kings

 

II,over 5 D:
5 H/S asks for trump Q
5 S/NT asks for kings

 

III,over 5 H if:
Clubs, Diamonds, or Hearts are trump:
5 S asks for kings
Spades are trump:
5 NT asks for kings

 

IV,over 5 S:
5 NT asks for kings

There are two ways to show the trump queen if asked:
a. The first step denies the queen, the second step shows the queen, OR
b. Rebid the trump suit at the cheapest level to deny the queen. Bids the nearest suit in which s/he
has a king to show the queen (as well as the king of the bid suit, obviously). With no side kings s/he bids
5nt or 6 of the agreed suit if 5nt not possible.

You can show kings in at least 3 different ways

a. each step shows 0,1,2,3 kings
b. each step shows 0/3,1,2
c. each person begin bidding up the line, cheapest level king first. O kings are shown by bidding 6 of the agreed suit.

Instead of bidding 4nt to request key cards (see 836/683KCasking for key card combinations), responder bids the

cheapest suit above the agreed suit.  Thus,
4D is Kcasking for clubs
4H is Kcaking for diamonds
4S is Kcasking for hearts
4nt is Kcasking for spades.
